On these courses, you dive into Saimaa’s food traditions through hands-on cooking. You’ll bake traditional Karelian pasties or Finnish blueberry pastries in a cosy 18th‑century log house, or prepare a meal over an open fire using ingredients gathered from nature, guided by an experienced chef. A relaxed atmosphere, local traditions, seasonal flavours and nearby ingredients tie every course together, with a shared meal as the highlight of the experience.
